IOS updates are free. On your iPhone or iPad go to Settings (it looks like a gear), then select General, next select Software Update.
It will take a minute, then will let you know if an update is available. Click on Download and Install. It will take some time to download depending on your internet connection speed.
After it downloads it will verify the diwnltandcask if you want to install it. Click Install and then let it run. It will take time to install. Then just follow the on screen instructions.
Updates can create troubles in old computers or computers with all connections. Just go to control panel and disable updates. Updates may be necessary in Vista, my suggestion is to set them to download manually when you need to.
call them again and demand to talk to a service technician and get a talk through for the fix
you could always find a virgin shop and have them fix it there and get a refund for lost data time
visit to near sony ericsson service center or some good mobile repair shop they will reinstall the software. if you want to do yourself then visit the below link and download sony ericsson software updater install the downloaded software over your PC and now plug the cable with PC and follow the instruction it will take approx 20 minute to 60 minute depend on your PC and internet (internet is must for this) dont try if you have a low speed internet (below 256 Kbps, 512 Kbps is good)
Step 1
Open Windows Update (located in the Windows XP Control
Panel), and see if SP2 is on the list of available updates. If you don't
have Windows Update installed or turned on, visit the Windows Update
website in order to get the latest Windows Update software.
Step 2
Select the Windows XP SP2 item from the list of available
updates, and click the "Install" button. Windows Update will begin
downloading Service Pack 2 (a process that may take up to 20 minutes or
longer, depending on how fast your Internet connection
is), and will then launch the installation program once downloading is
complete.
Step 3
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows XP
Service Pack 2 installation. You will be asked to accept the terms of
the licensing agreement before the actual installation takes place.
Installation may take up to 20 or 30 minutes, after which you will be
required to reboot your computer in order for the changes to the
operating system to take effect.
Step 4
Should you have problems installing XP Service Pack 2 through
Windows Update, download the stand-alone executable from Microsoft in
order to install the software update manually. The Service Pack
executable is designed to make it easier for IT professionals to update
multiple computers without having to download the Service Pack onto each
one. Run the installer program once you've finished downloading it, and
follow the on-screen instructions as mentioned above.
I had a similar issue a while back and found that sometimes modems are finicky with the MTU settings. I had to throttle mine down about 20 points to get it to stay connected. Check with your provider. Their Tech Support should be able to tell you if there is an alternate MTU setting at work here.
Cox people are really correct that everything is working from them and from there modem and doing a firmware update is really a good thing to do to correct your problem. For that firmware update you just need to download it from your routers manufacturer like Linksys , Belkin , Dlink or Netgear just go to there web site and search the model of your router so you can download the latest firmware for it.
Your router may need to have the firmware updated, or it needs to be reset or unplugged for 10 seconds to reset it. You can set up a home network and make sure all settings are set to automatic
Update your drivers and then do a speed test. Most isp send updates to the subscribers when they update, yours may not. Don't forget to check all of your connections before wasting time calling your isp. I trust this test the most. Rember you don't always get what you pay for. http://www.speedtest.net/
