How do i charge my vivitar camara - Vivitar ViviCam 8025 Digital Camera

Make sure the battery is in the camara correctly. I had the problem with the blue screen and MSDC showing and it would not hold a charge. the battery has to be in correctly. It will go in wrong and look right so match up the silver three marks on the battery to the three marks inside the camara where the battery goes. It worked after i did that. Hope this helps!!!

You can try charging your camera in two different ways -
1) Remove the Lithium Ion Battery. Note - This might result in the loss of sample pictures. Now, place the battery back inside and close the Battery door. Connect the camera to your computer and see if MSDC appears on the screen.
2) Try connecting the Charger end to your camera and connect the other end to the Electric Outlet.
Note- The Red LED should be light on charging. It will turn off when the charge is complete.

first you should try and charge it. If that does not work you should try taking out the battery and cleaning the spot on the battery and camera where the two connect with a dry Qtip. Sometimes residue can accur and this process usually helps. If all else fails you should contact the manufacturer and see what they can do. You don't. It uses three AAA batteries. Vivitar recommends you use disposable alkalines, not rechargeable Nicads or NiMHs.

You should check your battery charge is ok or not. then switch on our video camara. id it is not work ..you need to contact hardware ..

This happens because the camara already belives it is off. This is a problem i have had with my vivitar camara as well.

I would never use my camera to transfer pix to computer. I would buy a (usb or other) card reader and save wear and tear on camera. If this does not work for you give me more info.
