Right click on My computer then click on manage, go to device manager and look on the list for Imaging devices the web cam should display there. Or you can go look in my computer the web cam should display there to if not then it means your web cam is faulty take it to the vender so they can replace the part.

dx9 isn't a sound card driver, but a protocol for them, you need to know the chipset name of your sound card and download the right drivers, or, the name of the model of your desktop/laptop in order to download the drivers on manufacturer'site

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Not instailing the driver.
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
