My acer speakers aren't working. i don't know how to install them.

you need to install a sound driver in order to make the speakers work. if you don't know how to find the driver,please explain your laptop model with more detail and i'll get it for you

you need to check all your speakers first. just because they play don't mean they aren't blown. This protects your radio from blowing out any channels. Once you replace that bad speaker or shorted out speaker, reset the radio and you are good to go.

Try reinstalling the audio drivers.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Audio drivers.If that don't solve the problem maybe you blew the speakers.

Did you actually mean "all speakers... AREN'T working" except some tweeters? Crossovers don't protect the woofers. If crossover die all speakers they protect go silent due to loss of signal. Excess volume or distortion kills speakers and not always linearly.

If you said it wrong and some tweeters work, I'd suspect the latter above...

You (or we) could guess or you could take out one tweeter at a time and swap it with a (presumed) working one or just emasure it for dead short or open with an ohmmeter. If the tweeters check out and work elsewhere the problem would likely be within the cabinet.

The speaker you have mentioned is no need a software to use in a computer try to check if you are connected properly in your computer. See to it that you plug in the power adopter of your speaker and the input of the speaker is connected to the output of the audio of your computer.

the sound on utube is only stereophonic, hence you will get only stereo putput. If you play anything recorded as quadraphonic or above all your speakers will give sound output.

Make sure the speakers are plugged into the GREEN connector in the tower at the back of the unit on the motherboard.

Well that proves the hardware works. Crack the manual for the unspecified model and see why the source selected or the sound mode selected don't utilize those speakers.
