Screen ajustment the adjustment box for colour, brightness and contrast stays fixed on the screen. i tried pressing the exit button.... after a few times it disappears only to reappear within a few minutes. also the auto adjustment option, for which we are supposed to manually press the i button, keeps auto adjusting the screen whenever it feels like it. the box appears right in middle of the screen and is a real nuisance as it blocks out the main portion

Using Automatic Picture Settings
Your TV has Three automatic picture settings ("Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie") that are preset at the factory.
You can activate either Dynamic, Standard, Movie by making a selection from the menu.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the ENTER button, to select "Picture".
2. Press the ENTER button to select "Mode".
Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select the "Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie" picture
setting. Press the ENTER button.
?³ Choose Dynamic to increase the clarity and sharpness of the picture.
?³ Choose Standard for the standard factory settings.
?³ Choose Movie for a natural Image without picture enhancements.
3. Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select "Contrast", "Brightness", "Sharpness",
"Color", or "Tint(G/R)", then press the ENTER button.
4. Press the ??? or ??? buttons to decrease or increase the value of a particular item.
For example, if you select "Contrast", pressing the ??? button increases it.
Press the ENTER button.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
• When you make changes to Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color, Tint(G/R)
the OSD will be adjusted accordingly.
• When in PC mode, Tint, Sharpness, and Color are not available.
Press the P.MODE button on the remote control repeatedly to select the desired
picture mode.

Adjusting the Color Tone
You can change the color of the entire screen according to your preference.

Press the ENTER button to select "Picture".
2. Press the ??² or ??¼ button to select "Color Tone", then press the ENT ER button.
3. Press the ??² or ??¼ button to select "Cool2", "Cool1", "Normal", "Warm1",
or "Warm2".
Press the ENTER button.
When the picture mode is set to Dynamic or Standard, Warm1 and Warm2
cannot be selected. Movie mode is only available.

hi, most monitors have between 4 buttons or 8 to udjust picture. the 4 button MENU, PLUS, MINUS, OFF. when the menu button is pushed the screen will show a list of COLOUR, BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, etc,etc the plus is pressed to change the COLOUR, BRIGHTNESS, etc,etc. if you need to change the SCREEN setting BECAUSE THE ICONS ARE TOO BIG click on START go up list to CONTROL PANEL go to DISPLAY click on this and go to SETTINGS click on this and on the left. change to 1024 by 768 SCREEN SIZE (COLOUR 256). press APPLY wait press OK. gerry

If it happened yesterday that the contrast box keep on coming. there's a problem in your monitor.so try to check the buttons if covered with dust cleaning may solved the problem.Maureen if you have the manual use it in adjusting the resolution and if you dont have try to press the button mark + or increase just press both of the to the brightnest as posible so that you may be able to proceed another action. thats all for now.hope i helped you.good luck.

You need to provide brand name and model number for providing the instruction .

The front panel switches are known to become leaky.You need to replace these switches.

usually this is controlled from a small separate board you can find them on ebay for about 20 dollars.

It looks like your UP button contact is demaged.
SOLUTION is to insert a piece from your business card mostly above the button to adjust it down or up. It works fine.

see in keyboard ther is button called FN which is in blue colour press this button and simltenoeusly pree the button aerro up and down
