All my pictures are gone off my LUMIX camera that I took only a few hours ago. The pictures ARE on my memory card, as it shows it when i put my memory card into the computer. But it won't show it on my camera, and says there is no memory card and it is 'clipboard' setting? HELP!

First, it sounds like your mode dial is set to "clipboard". While it is, with no card in the camera, press the delete button to erase the clipboard memory. Then, set the mode dial to normal picture mode. Still, with no card in the camera, press the delete button again to erase anything from the internal memory of the camera. Then, insert the card and it should work properly.

I think my camera deleted all its memory...all but the most recent photo I took are gone. Can I get these photos back? I'm desperate! I have tried downloading shareware recovery programs but it isn't...

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted may be still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them or if the camera does any kind of write to the card.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but as you know, there are programs for doing this on a computer. I would recommend putting the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and using an undelete program to recover the deleted files. It may be that the software you have already tried could not make sense of the memory card while it was in the camera, or maybe it only understands disk drives. There are definitely undelete programs available that work on memory cards in a card reader attached via USB port, but you may have to do some searching to find one. I would try looking at www.download.com

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

Erasing the pictures using the computer is the problem. Your camera does not recognize the card anymore. If your pics are safely on your computer, format the card in the camera to get it working again.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 cant upload photos!!

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

Pictures gone

Did they show in the screen as you took them?  Try reading the card in a different device  - a card reader connected to the pc . Good luck

Auto delete

If you are refering to the pictures you took on the camera before you put in the memory stick, then you took those pictures on the internal camera memory. the camera is set to default on the memory card whenever one is in. To get to the pictures on the internal memory, remove the memory stick and you should be able to view the pictures. To transfer those pictures to your computer follow the steps in the manual, just be sure not to have the memory stick in.

Cannot erase images on Panasonic Lumix

Go to the menu and Select 'Format.' This will erase all the pictures from the memory card or internal memory so be careful.
