These washers only connect to some standard taps, for others you will need an adapter. another thing is the hoses are generally short but you can definitely connect to your laundry taps if the hose is long enough.

The collar on the quick connect coupling seems to be stuck preventing me from being able to connect air hose. It seems to be free enough that i can turn it but i cant push it in to connect the hose.

If wd40 does not help, just replace the fitting with generic quick connect from Lowes or home depot. Cost is about 4 dollars. Take the hose with you so that you can try the fitting at the store. There are several styles of quick connect. Automotive, industrial and universal. Good luck

I have a Weber Genesis S-330. My house has a natural gas pipe out to my deck with a shut-off value. Do I need to buy a seperate part to connect the hose to the gas line? Can't seem to figure out how i

Hi Jamie Duke, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Did your grill come with a grey rubber gas hose and/or a quick-disconnect fitting? The quick disc. (typically 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" size) should hook up to your shut off valve, but you may need to buy a pipe fitting to adapt to it, that is, if the shutoff valve is not the same size. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Douglas

Bought a Hoselock Hose Reel today and cant figure

You need to purchase a Hoselock tap connector. There are two basic types, one has a thread that screws on to a theaded tap and the other type is a compession fitting that can be secured to most other taps.

The full range of connectors can be found on their website

Popping while removing Hose Adapter

Are you sure the adapters are installed in the correct direction? To release the pressure you could turn the water off, and then turn the washer on. The residual pressure will be released. Then you can turn the washer off and remove the hoses.

DISWASHER hdw100wht

You could if you wanted a hot wash. You cannot dry without cold water. The dryer cycle requires cold water to draw moisture out of the clothes.

You can create a custom program that has no dry cycle. I usually do the laundry this way and hang dry, however I only have cold water hooked up.

You could get cold from the cold tap by installing a few outdoor hose quick connect parts to the tap if your faucet ends in a screw fitting. You may also need screw on expander for this to work. Go to you local hardware store and tell them you want to get the outdoor hose quick connect parts and an expander to fit on your household tap. Buy metal parts NOT cheapo plastic.

Danby portable dishwasher 1805W hose too short. Where I can find a extension hose.

First cut the hoses off near where they would connect to the plastic quick adapter. Leave a little slack at 2-3 inches between where you cut and the metal clamp.

Take those two pieces you just cut off to home depot or lowes. Afterwards you can chuck them if you don't want them (I did read below). Take the metal faucet adapter with you too.

For the water supply hose (this is the smaller one) need a Hose barb adapter 3/8 Barb x 3/8 FIP

You need a clamp for this.

Get a plastic hose the length you want and the right barb to fit the drain hose and your new hose. You need two clamps. Also you might consider hooking it up to an external water pump depending on your situation. If the hose is long or has to go up above 36 inches then you may need a pump.

Then you want a standard dishwasher connecting kit. They have them from 4-6 feet, they come with a 3/8 brass fitting make sure you get that.

You also need plumbing teflon.

I also wanted to replace the faucet connector because the plastic one it came with leaked all over the place. I got a quick snap that goes to a garden hose. It fits the metal faucet adapter that came with the dishwasher. . I had to get a few connectors to go from the garden hose adapter to the standard dishwasher hose.

Installation. Take the clamp for the supply hose and put it on the hose connected to the dishwasher. Put insert the barb and tighten the clamp.

Put teflon on the 3/8 male connector that came with your standard dishwasher kit. Connect it to the Barb adapter you just installed. Connect your standard dishwasher hose.

Connect the other end. Its pretty straight forward just don't forget to put teflon on any of the thick threads.

From this you can pretty much figure out the rest with the drain hose.

If I were to do it again I probably wouldn't have used the standard dishwasher kit. I would have gotten a cheap plastic tube and connected it. Also if you're happy with the plastic adapter they gave you save the plastic connectors you cut off and you can use another 3/8 barb adapter to connect it to the other end of your extension hose either a simple plastic tube or the standard dishwasher connector.
