According to the Asrock site, the CPU you chose should work in your board. You are going to have to check the jumper settings, (see the manual page 11) jumpers J1,J2,J3,J4,J5,J6,J8,J9,J10,J11,J12,J13,J18,J21 only. You indicated that you also changed J7,J14,J15,J16,J17,J19,and J20 since your statement was "i looked at the manual and changed the jumper settings from J1-J21"

Also make sure you do not have a jumper block on the CLR CMOS down near the battery. If you left a jumper on, it will not boot

Also, make sure you installed the CPU correctly and did not accidentally bend a pin on the underside. see 2.2 on page 12 Installing the 775.

What type of dual core processor can I use for my dc7600?

The motherboard for the dc7600 has an Intel LGA775 processor socket. However, not all LGA775 processors are compatible with the motherboard. For the small form factor, the following CPUs are supported: Intel Celeron D Processors:
Intel Celeron D 331 Processor (2.66-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 336 Processor (2.80-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 346 Processor (3.06-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium 4 Processors with HT Technology:
Intel Pentium 4 521 Processor (2.8-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 524 Processor (3.06-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 541 Processor (3.2-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 620 Processor (2.8-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 630 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 631 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 640 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 641 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 650 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 651 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 661 Processor (3.6-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) or
Intel Pentium D Dual Core Processors:
Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core Processor (2.66-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 820 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 925 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 930 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 940 Dual Core Processor (3.2-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 945 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 950 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Unfortunately, these are old processors and I don't see any available new. Newegg.com lists a couple available as refurbished. You may be better off getting a new computer with either a Intel I3 or current AMD processor.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Want to upgraded Pentium 4 2.8 GHz to Pentium 4 3.2E GHz

why not go with a faster MB and CPU combo?
First to awnser your question yes the Pentuim 3.2 will fit the MB as long as yours is a 800 Mhz Bus speed. And the Board can be configured for the proper clock speed. I would also buy a new CPU fan and heatsink greese b4 you install this CPU. Thee are so many cheap CPU MB Combos out there its almost cheaper to just replace both and get a much faster system.

Is an intel pentium D 925 work on an asusrock 775vm800? ive went to their website and it supports 920 and 930 but i dont know if they are having issue with the 925

The ONLY thing you got to worry here is the LGA package. The rest wil fall into place and it does support your cpu specs so yes it will indeed work.

Please do be considerate and rate and leave feedback, Thanks

CPU - Socket 478 for Intel® Pentium 4/Celeron processor

So, it should work. What CPU did you remove?

Need an up grade for the processor

Well, there is not many places where you can buy a CPU for that motherboard. Also, you state that the current CPU is 250 MB but I think you mean the system memory is 256 MB. Looks like your CPU is 366 MHZ. You best bet is to look for a Pentium 4 motherboard/CPU and memory combo on ebay. You can probably find a P4 1.6 MHZ for barebones system for under $50.

P4i65G - brand new want start.

Try getting a slower cpu, I have a 3.0Ghz P4 with 512mb of ram and it works great, I emailed them about upgrading ram and they said: "Upgrading the memory would not affect the Video card, unless the memory is not compatible with the motherboard, then the computer might not turn on at all."
