I have a Sanyo digital camera vpc-s1070. I am getting a "lens error message 0x01110000" . I purchased the camera for my mother Christmas before last. She has hardly used the camera - if fact she has never even filled the memory card!! This just happened one day and now it won't work at all. the lens will not retract back into the camera. You can't take a picture or view pics on the memory card. I've tried everything and not sure what else to do. I have not contacted Sanyo.

We have the same problem with our sanyo...does anyone know the manufacturers number...walmart would not take it back cause we threw away the box..so we are stuck with a camera that does not work and spent alot of money on it. any suggestions???
