Question about HP LaserJet M5035 MFP Printer

Printer is printing to lite. replace toner and set printer to off on economode. Still prints lite

Can be caused by a number of things.
In the Print Quality menu(where you did the economode adj) go to Toner Density. Change the number to 5. See if that helps.
Could be bad paper.
Make sure that the transfer roller is good and seated correctly.
High Voltage Power Supply could be bad.

EconoMode This product has an EconoMode option for printing drafts of documents. Using EconoMode can use less toner and decrease the cost per page. However, using EconoMode can also reduce print quality. HP does not recommend full-time use of EconoMode. If EconoMode is used full-time, the toner supply might outlast the mechanical parts in the print cartridge. If print quality begins to degrade under these circumstances, you will need to install a new print cartridge, even if there is toner supply remaining in the cartridge. At the product control panel, select the CONFIGURE DEVICE menu, and then select the PRINT QUALITY submenu. EconoMode is turned off by default.

I have HP LaserJet 1160 Printer, moreover it prints dim (light) print on paper. I replace its toner, yet it is printing dim printing..... can you give me reason, what is problem?

Hi, maybe the printer is in EconoMode. To disable EconoMode please open the printig preferences in Windows. On the Paper/Quality tab or the Finishing tab, deselect the EconoMode checkbox.

How to get 300dpi from hp1020 laser?

HP support does not list the dpi for its "EconoMode (Save Toner)" setting, however the next highest setting is 600 dpi.

If you are printing drafts and want to save toner, the EconoMode can be chosen in Control Panel from one of your printer's properties tabs.

I have an HP Laserjet M1319f MFP printer, when I print it uses alot of toner. How can I program it or what can I do on the computer to use less toner?

You can set the density lighter or put the printer in economode. You may not like the print quality as it will be extremely light. But the toner will last longer.

Save toner
1. On the File menu in the software program, click Print.
2. Select the driver, and then click Properties or Preferences.
3. On the Paper/Quality tab, click EconoMode.
4. Click OK.

Printing

Check the print quality setting on your computer when printing from printing preferences try quality. Also optionally you may want to consider reinstalling the driver,s and uninstalling the printer completely first, as this will restore it to defaul settings.

Check the Colour management in printer driver on the computer - set this to Automatic.
On the printer or The HP ToolboxFX, check to see if Economode is turned on (under Print Quality) which reduces the print quality.

300 dpi priting

Your printer doesn't have a 300 DPI setting, however, you can select "EconoMode" from the "Preferences" menu after you select "Print". Look for a tab that says "Quality". EconoMode will be lighter than normal 600 DPI printing, thereby saving toner.

Low Print Quality

1) Make sure your toner is not low.

2) Make sure Print Density is set to 3. (Through the HP Toolbox.

3) Make sure EconoMode is not checked. (Printer Properties>Preferences)

Print has started coming out very faint. difficult to read. can i set machine to print darker or revise resolution

Sounds as if your toner cartridge may be nearing the end of its life or you've got the economode turned on. If it's the latter it can be turned off in the printer driver - printer Properties -
On the Paper/Quality tab or the Finishing tab -
uncheck the economode box.
