I have the Call of Duty:Black ops controller and will have problems syncing with my ps3 and when it finally does sync with the ps3 there will be extreme delays between the time that i push a button and the response on the game. also when i am using it to play call of duty black ops and i move the right analog stick to aim it is like as if i am just holding the stick in one direction even though i let go of the stick. it just keeps moving. i just bought the controller today. im not sure if i just have a defalty controller or what. please help me.

Unfortunately that particular controller has been noted for it's somewhat spotty performance. You may just have one of the many lemons for that product, so I suggest first taking the product, along with your receipt, back to where you bought it and asking for an exchange. (You did save the package, right? Maybe you don't need it if your just going to exchange it for another, but better safe then sorry.)

As for a long term solution, check online before you buy an aftermarket product like that. Reading the reviews on a place like Amazon will give you an idea of the product, and a list of things that are good and bad about it before you go out and buy one, either online or in a store. There are plenty of good items for the PS3, but there are some that haven't had enough work put into them yet.
