Question about Vizio E322VL 32 in. LCD TV

1 Answer

The vizio e322vl headphone jack is not documented by Visio. There is an "Audio" spot next to "RGB PC" and I tried various jack sizes b none works. If you have a soulution, can you connect a wireless headphone?

That audio jack is input only it is stereo jack to connect from the comptuer to the tv when using the RGB input. most headphone jacks if they are there would be on the side of flat panel tvs. otherwise the audio output may be digital(optical) or normal rca (red and white) that you can hookup to the headphone system.

plug an RCA jack into the AUDIO OUT on back of TV, add a coupler that you can plug your earphones into.

I have the same problem. The analog audio output from my VISIO TV does not override the TV audio... so when playing the headphones, the volume has to go way up both in the headphones and on the actual TV speakers. Any solution to this problem?

Vizio M550SV no sound. Is there an audio card or does the main board have to be replaced?

From the top
- HDMI - both Audio and Video come from device via one cable.
- RF Coaxial (aka CATV) - both Audio and Video come from device via one cable.
- 15 Pin Dsub (they are calling it RGB), Video comes from this cable and Audio is from a dual 1/4" plug (looks like a headphone wire at both ends).
- Component (this is true RGB) uses RCA type cables - two sets of cables, cable one has 3 RCA at each end and they are color coded, as follows Red/Green/Blue, cable two has two RCA color coded as follows White/Red. Cable one is Video, and cable two is audio, total of 5 connections at source and 5 connections at tv.
- Composite AV - one cable set, coded as follows - Red/White/Yellow, Red/White are audio and Yellow is video.
Hope this helps.

Are you able to use the VIZIO 47" Class 1080p 480Hz SPS LED Backlit LCD HDTV as a computer monitor and use a wireless keyboard and mouse to browse on a pc through rgb and speaker jack?

Hi there,

Yes, all new TV's of 1080p specification will have a dedicated PC connection (and should have either a 3.5mm audio socket or 2 x RCA inputs for audio).

The most common way is to use a VGA lead (with 3.5mm audio lead) - VGA out of pc to VGA in of TV. 3.5mm audio output of pc (ie headphone socket) to 3.5mm audio input of TV.

You will just require the correct VGA lead long enough to connect to your pc.

The wireless keyboard and mouse will need to be connected to your pc, and must be within "line of sight" to the wireless receiver.

If you specifically want to use pc output to RGB input (and RCA audio in) of your TV, then you will need to obtain a long VGA to RGB conversion cable, plus 3.5mm audio lead. Have a look on Ebay for a coversion cable.

Cheers,

Is there a connection for audio out for wireless headphones

Wireless or not you only have 3 option for connecting an oudio autput, either is is a Jack, or it is 2 cinch cable one red one white, or an Optical output.

The one you will use will depend on the input connection of the emmitting part of your wireless headset.

Hope this helps.

How i am connect Wi Fi or internet to my TV.it is vizio and model number is J V 50 P HD TV 10 A. and Serial number is PHLANCJ2804679. I WANT CONECT WITH INTERNET FOR NETFLIX PLEASE LET ME WHAT CAN I DO.

As I type this, I am using my Vizio 50" plasma. All you need to do is ditch your current monitor you use for your internet service and use the same cord from the monitor to plug it into your RBG port on the back of your tv.
Next for sound there is a 1/4 jack next to the RGB port on your tv. Connect your tv to your audio out on your computer. (headphones or aud out)
Select RGB on your tv, and your good to go. I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse for my computer which makes it more convenient.

Connect the Toshiba A215-S4747 to the Vizio TV by using either the Standard RGB (monitor out) port or the S-Video out. Use the headphone output port for the audio.

I have new RCA model VHP141 Headphones but will not work with my new Vizio TV. Where do I plug them in the TV?

Visio might not have a headphone jacks at all! Look around your set and, probably you won't find jack marked as headphone. You might need to use wireless headphones, what have an rca plugs and connect them to audio monitor out on your tv set.
Good luck!
