The temputure was in the 50's in the refrigerator, so I cleaned the condenser and turned it back on. and now the fan is not working and the condenser gets hot. if I gentle touch the fin of the fan it works, but when it stops it doesn't go back on again. could it be a sending unit to the fan or the fan motor it's self.

Most likely the condenser coil is dirty. It is under the fridge, clean it with a vacuum, or air pressure, blow it out outside it will ne dusty . There are two to three fans. One by the compressor, called a condenser fan. If it is a side by side, usually there is a fan in the freezer section, and one in the refrigerator section. All need to work. If all this is and the compressor is running then chances are the compressor has bad valves. Make sure there is no ice on the coils in the refrigerator and freezer coils. If there is ice you have a defrost problem, which can be fixed. If the compressor has bad valves, get a new refrigerator.
The first thing I would do is to check the compressor and the condenser fan. Remove the cover on the back of the fridge and check how hot is the compressor? Is the condenser fan turning well? Also check the condenser coil under the fridge, it is very possible it needs cleaning. If the condenser fan is not working properly then it has to be replaced. If the condenser fan motor is fine and the cleaning did not help then the sealed system is low on Freon and in such case you need a certified technician to fix a leak and to charge the system. Good luck in solving the problem....
