Electrolux frost free fridge freezer. Warm fridge and ice in the frost free freezer?

That is normally indicative of a failed gasket and not sealing properly. The warm moist air is sucked in and condenses to frost. You should be able to trap and grip a 2" strip of normal printing paper all the way around it.

Sometimes the air duct bewteen the fridge and freezer becomes blocked with snowy ice what forms when the freezer has been running without an operative fan - solution switch the unit off with the doors open for 24hrs then clean close it up and switch it on - if it was snow problem will be gone - cheap and easy to give it a try

look along the door seals to ensure they lay flat agaist the body, as an air leak encorages fros/ice build up even in a frost free unit.use a hot cloth to adjust.

Air from the freezer is blown into the fridge by a fan, some new type frigs have electronic controls that open and close a vent to frig. the older ones have two vents in the frig from the freezer and when covered with frost or ice the air will not reach the frig. check for ice or just defrost the freezer if there is ice or frost, also check for food or plastic over vents in freezer. Also check that the freezer fan is running as these sometimes become blocked or defective motor.

Frost free fidges are supposed to stay frost free because the automatically defrost regularly. When they do this they may drain water down to the bottom of your fridge. Look for a tray that catches this water underneath the unit. Make sure yo keep it emptied. If you live in a very warm climate you may be getting a lot of humidity inside. There may be a switch that you can change for lower moisture.

remove back plate inside freezer. there is a drain tray at the bottom with a drain hole in the middle and this is blocked with ice. melt ice off with a hairdryer and follow up with hot water till water flows away freely. check drain tray heater is ok as well

is this a frost free fridge if so then it is possibly not defrostingand has built up to much ice in the evaperator

remove the back panel inside the freezer and check for ice build up on the evaporator pipework. if ice build up, this prevents air flow and hence temp rises.
remove ice carefully with a hair dryer and it should work. if problem comes back, you have a problem with the defrost system and get back to me if you want

there is a fan inside freezer behind back panel. if pipework behind panel is covered with ice, it will prevent air circulation and the fridge is affected first

take back panel off and check for ice build-up and that the fan is working
