Question about Dell Precision M2300 Computer Workstation Network Terminal

Dell M2300 issues: After several times of a freezed screen & rebooted the computer while either on the internet or working with "Autocad Inventor", it's finally gave up on me, on the last reboot, window doesn't come up but, I ended up with a blank white screen. After tried a few more times of rebooting I could hear the audio of window 7 but nothing comes up, all I got was a BLANK WHITE SCREEN. PLEASE HELP!

Isolate where the problem is: it could be the LCD display or the graphics circuit on the main board. Connect the VGA output of the laptop to an external monitor - one that you know is good. From the function keys, activate the VGA output of the laptop - it's suppose to switch between the LCD display or to the external monitor. Switch it to the external monitor. If the external monitor works, then you have a problem with the LCD display of the laptop.

Suggest connecting monitor to another computer and confirm defect. If problems reoccurs and cables are confirmed OK replace.

what you need to do is disable first the 3.5" Floppy drive in your cmos/bios setup before reinstalling the windows operating system.

My screen is black or blank. when I reboot the computer the word "DELL" shows on the screen but then it goes black again. I shut down and rebooted several times with no luck.

boot files missing run a OS repair with OS disc recover and backup your data then do a proper clean OS installation to replace all kernel32 and boot sectors on boot drive

you have a GPU that is cold jointed (bad soldering from cycling heat and cold stress) you must reflow the graphic card

first try connecting an external monitor, if it works it's the LCD panel need's to be replaced

if you have the same problem with the external monitor you have a GPU that needs REFLOWING find a company that can REFLOW the graphic card (re heat the board to re solder the GPU)

I'll address the 2nd part 1st. The non-functional right click button will require a palmrest replacement.
For the boot issue, there could be several causes. Things you can try:

Start run MSCONFIG, you can uncheck items in the startup tab and reboot and see if the issue stops, then if it does, you can add items back till you find the item causing the issue.
If you don't have an active antivirus or antispyware application, the go to download.com and download and install one and run the full scans

try a repair of the network connection (Right click it, repair) that will clear several settings that might be an issue. If no change boot to safe mode with networking, see if issue occurs in safe mode. If issue doesn't occur in safe mode, then you might try a system restore to a time period when the issue was not occurring. You can flash the BIOS to a current version if a newer version is available. You can uninstall the driver in the safe mode, reboot and re-install the driver. If the issue does not occur in the safe mode, you may also try editing the startup group of MSCONFIG to see if a driver installed there is causing an issue Last but not least, run a malware scan of the system (Malwarebytes from Download.com is highly recommeneded)

I have had similar issues.
What I found works is open a new window and copy paste it into that.
Or close program and reopen sometimes the printer can not read properly so you need to close and open the file again..
