Bb password the password is locked and i can't unlock it in general settings.it has a lock on enabled by password

hi there, a blackberry hard reset can be done in two ways
1. go to settings > security options > general settings. in there you will find things that will enable phone lock etc press the blackberry home key you will then see a list of options one will say wipe handheld select that one and the rest is easy.
2. you can also reset blackberry when it is locked just enter the wrong password all the time, the phone will ask you to type blackberry to continue a couple of times on the 10th try when you type it wrong it will say enter blackberry to continue when you type this it will reset and will be as if it were just out the box.

NB. if you get errors like jvm 503 or others hust launch bb desktop manager and plug in your phone and it will say you have software error check for update it will download and install the latest version of bb os for your phone.

In the security settings or phone settings,enable the automatic key lock option,then it will ask for the password everytime.

you must have not selected the options to lock ur msgs
go to>settings>security>privacy(click on privacy not to the circle)>select the options and press done type the password and save it.if u forget the password then dont worry just master reset the password

*verify your security code
*then press OK ,your phone now have personal security code or password...
warning ,always remember your security password because if you forget you cant open your phone...

Do you have a device password set on the device? If so, go to Options (wrench), General Settings, and you should be able to change the lock out time up to an hour. Press the BB Menu key and select save. Enter Password to confirm.

If you do not have a password set, somehow you are pressing the Keyboard Lock icon. To unlock, press * (asterisk) key and hit Send call button.

Yes, but you would have to enter the wrong password 10x - Caution - this will wipe your BB of all saved data.

Or can contact your cell provider and see if they can reset your password if not and your BB is issued to you via your Company than you can have your BB Administrator reset your BB password.

To unlock a Samsung turn the phone off take the sim card and type the following code *#pw+15853649247w# .

If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call batton and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)

did u try this one * 2 7 6 7 * 3 8 5 5 # it removes simlock but with all the pictures n music u had on the cell along with phonebook contacts saved on the phone
