Though Freezer is working fine, this model 64952 (6.5 yrs old; limited vacation home use only) has not properly cooled fridge portion for a few months. At first, it (also) wasn't defrosting, and water was leaking into fridge area, but I resolved this by de-icing (unplugged/hair dryer) and the water leaking went away. Defrost issue may be returning (beads of ice at top of freezer) but biggest issue is fridge stays in the 50s.

Sounds like one of two problems. Either the fan motor that pushes the cold air from the freezer is not turning (Burned out) or stuck with ice because of an incomplete defrost of frost. Check to make sure the fan is running (any time the fridge is running) if not remove the panel in the freezer and see if there is abuild up of frost or ice around the fan. If you are not comfortable with removing the panel let it defrost with unit unplugged for a 24 hrs with the doors open and try again.

check for your freezer fan running properly
then check to make sure you have air flow into the freezer this model has a habit of freezing ice in the air channels

No, it is not a failed condenser. You need to see if the compressor is running though. When it runs you shaould have a fan in the freezer running, a fan underneath the fridge running, and the compressor should be running. I would be willing to bet that either the compressor is bad, or the start relay on the compressor.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge.The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..
