4)Your product "Aspire E1-571" will get displayed.
5)Click on "BIOS" menu in the table that appears

go to acers website (acer.com) and go to support - select your model then drivers and you will see updated bios and download the updated bios!

There is a bios update avaliable for Acer One notebook. the problem you mean is about bios update. you need to update bios. go to http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_one_150.html download the bios update.

Just select your make and model, then underneath that, select your Operating System. Then just click on the BIOS tab, then the orange icon to the left of the BIOS file.

If the web site for this motherboard does not have a bios update to run this cpu then there is no bios.
It might not support Phenom or higher

So just because some one said "update the bios" doesnt mean there is a bios that will run it , I believe that this board will handle a 6000 x2 and that is about it.
