This is a memory error. Most likely on the motherboard, but you can swap out a memory stick and see if that fixes it. Otherwise, you'll be looking at a new motherboard.

it should be f5 if not then look for an icon that has a computer screen on it

after it reboots it will ask you to boot from cd,

ignore this and let it boot from harddrive, where it has already copied the files to... it should setup ok from there

i really need more info, two things:

firstly look to see if the clip (where the screen clips onto the base when it closes) is mobile and is not jammed down from something.

secondly restart, if a image comes up in your POST (when the computer boots up) push tab and then F8 or similar (it will say just read the screen = ] ) and restart windows in safe mode.

when you have booted up in safe mode check in the display and power window and tell the computer to never go into sleep or hibernate.

like i said i need more info cause this can also be caused bu a hdd contact error, or a battery falure, so please if this does not help in the slightest just post up here more info and i will be happy to help further.
