There is a high pitched screeching noise coming out of my tv? Is this fixable and or expensive to fix?

It could be a capasitor but more likely its the mains transformer they can leak a little or a lot and this will desifer how long your tv will continue to run as when its leak gets to large the power will drop and stop the unit from working the problem her is if not replaced asap it could down other components when it goes making the repair more expensive and harder to find. i would suggest you have it repaired as soon as possible the transformer cost around $ 180 - $ 200 to have replaced
