My Garmin C330 displays locating gps and remains there. How can I fix this?

To open a Garmin c330 gently pry the silver front cover off by starting at the Garmin Logo location. A thin blade or small screw driver will work well. The silver cover has molded snap-in clips that pop out from the main case. Once the silver cover is off, remove the 4 screws and the case will open. My display was not working, I fixed the problem by adjusting the display's ribbon cable at its connector.

Since I didn't hear from anyone, I contacted the co. I purchased from. I was advised to send it back.

ok, first you will have to unplug the power and usb cables to remove external power. Secondly, place your thumbnail in the groove located under the Garmin logo on the face plate and gently pull off the face plate. Next, press the reset button for three seconds. Finally, connect the c330 to a power source using the power cable. the c330 should automatically turn back on and operate normally.

There is a manuel on the gps c330
After you download it you will have to locate it and bring it up on the computer.
It should have the instruction for you problem.

1.Under the face plate by the Garmin Logo.Use your thumbnail to remove the plate.
2.Press the reset button.

My Streetpilot c330 and it says? can't unlock maps? How can i fix this problem.
