I jhave in my showers the Moen and One handle tub and shower faucet, model # T3132. When I turn it on in the showers, there is no hot water... in both it gives me only cold water... even if I turn the handle to the right, towards heat... still runs cold water. Everywhere else in my house, and in the same bathroom I get hot water, in sinks and such... just not in the showers... I need help... What could be the problem? And what is the solution?

remove and turn cartridge 180 degrees then re-install

check or change diverter

these valves can be adjusted by removing the handle and adjusting the white gear that regulates the hot and cold that come out, try going more to one way if it gets colder then go the other way.

You can cap the lines at the tub faucet to rule out tub faucet. It maybe mixing there.

Faucet may be bad also the safety stop will alow you to change water temp it can be tricky to adjust water temp.

Here is a quick check to see if the cartridge may be at fault allowing the cold and hot to mix. Turn off the hot water supply, with hot water supply off turn faucet on. Turn to the hot and cold sides, If you have only cold water then your faucet cartridge is at fault or the cartridge housing is worn. Shut all supply valves and remove cartridge and inspect housing for signs of wear. If wear is visible a new shower valve is needes. If none visible replace cartridge. spool valve is clogged remove clean replace

probable that there is mineral deposit's,scale buildup,inside. pull cartridge and look in valve body,turn water on to it and flush valve body real good.possible model #1222-if it's posi temp ,#1225 for reg faucet

Try taking the handle off and turning it 180 degrees, and then put handle back on. Dont laugh it could work.

Did the hot water shut off get turned back on fully after the change? Is the hot water line kinked under the sink? Is the hot water shut off valve working?
