I have a Hitachi 53udx10b v1j013813 and i see double images on my screen i would like to know what compents, i was also told that my conversion box needs to be repaired.. let me know if thats the case.and what parts will require to fix this issue my self ? THANKS

You need to replace both convergence ICs they are STK392-110 you will alos need (two0 3.3 ohm 1 watt metal film resistors. (two) 1.8 ohm 1watt Metal film resistors, (one) 3.9 ohm 1watt metal film and 9one) 2.2 ohm 1watt metal film resistor. You can get new replacement Ics and resistors at the following link and they include free instalation instructions with pictures. Here is the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

Ur convergence is dead.Must know how to solders?Tries Tv repair World.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy convergence kit.Replaced ICS and all it resistors to fix this problems.The shop will cost u $300 for parts and labors.
Your convergence chips are bad. You can set a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com for your model. Their kits come with all the parts and a complete photo instruction guide.
You could have some type of convergance (three colors, three guns) problem. Also a misaligned horizontal or vertical oscillator.Ceck to see if any of tiny magnets around the bell of picture tube or next to coils in and around bell of pix tube are missing.
projection screens are prone to screen burn ,this is caused by the same image being displayed for a long time ie nick jr image in the corner,also check ther are no magnets close to the tv as this will cause distortion,ie speakers etc,hope this helps
