Question about Panasonic Palmcorder PV-GS12 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Everytime I turn it on the reset button appears on screen. I reset it and it appears again. The manual says irregular mechanism is detected??

I keep getting an error message everytime i turn it on and when i try to look at my pictures in my gallery.. it says something like andriod.proces..media isnt working and also it will knock me off the...
You did a soft reset, try master reset: Here is a step-by-step procedure on how-to perform a factory reset when the unlock pattern code has been forgotten:

This is the "master" reset procedure. No other way of clearing the unlock pattern.
*******This procedure will delete all items (file's) and entries on the MID7015******


Step 1- Power the unit off. Press and hold the "Power Button" till the "Device Option menu appears.

Step 2- Click on "Power Off and select "OK" .

Step 3- Once the unit has been turned off. Press and hold the "reset" button and "power" button simultaneously for eight seconds.

Step 4- The following screen will appear. Press the "reset" button.

Step 5- The Android system recovery screen will appear.

Step 6- The "Home and Menu" button will allow you to go Up and Down the Android system recovery screen.

Step 7- Press the menu button to go to "wipe data/factory reset". . Press the "reset" button.


Step 8- The following screen will appear. .
Step 9- Press the Menu" button to select "Yes- delete all user data".
Step 10- Press the "reset" button.

Step 11- The following screen will appear .

Step 12- Press the "reset" button to reboot/restart the unit.

I have a Panasonic NV GS15 it keeps saying "press the re-set button" when switched on, and sometimes it switches off whilst recording with the same message ?
This alarm indicates that AN IRREGULARITY IN THE MECHANISM OF THE CAMCORDER HAS BEEN DETECTED.You can solve the problem by hitting the reset button.

When the camera is switched on the lens goes in and out twice and then the message that appears on the screen is 'turn the power off and on again'

Error: TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN is displayed on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the error message, try doing a power reset and Initialize option.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.


If the issue persists, service may be required.

If you encounter "Error Code 5B00" it means that the Printer Counter Protection is Full and it required a reset and Ink absorber replacement, if you want your printer to work again. There are two ways to reset the Canon MP printer, One is by using a Software tool and the other is manually resetting the EEPROM of the printer. Below is the step by step procedure on how to reset your Canon printer.

1. Using MPtool Software to reset Canon MP Printer
Turn of printer then run mptool software this software automatically detect the printer.
Click reset main and reset platen button in the waste ink counter section.
If you want to reset the cartridge ink level, click reset black and reset color in the ink counter section.

2. Manual Reset of the printer
Turn off the Printers.
Press and Hold the button Resume/Cancel then press POWER button.
Release the Resume/Cancel button while keeping POWER button on press.
Press Resume/Cancel 2 times and then release all the buttons.
When the indicator recorded GREEN - click Resume/Cancel 4 times!
Turn off and On the Canon Pixma MP Printers. And your done.

I cant get my phone to turn on everytime I hold the reset button the apple logo appears for 5 secs then the screen turns black.
Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.
Reset

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:
Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.


Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

TOUCH SCREEN IS NOT WORKING
We have the same problem and our leapster is only 2 days old.Do Touch Screen Calibration,it should help.I do it everytime for my son when he wants to play and it does help...But once u turn leapster off,u'll have to calibrate it again next time...
Just hold down hint button while turning on.When the Leapster menu screen appears,press the A button.Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus.restart unit. ..That what we do everytime.

Here is what I was able to find about your issue with your camera. [PUSH THE RESET SWITCH] is displayed. ? An irregularity in the Camcorder has been automatically detected. Remove the cassette or the card for data protection and then press the [RESET] Button with the protection on the Lens Cap. The Camcorder will be activated. ? Detach the power connected, and consult the dealer who you purchased the Camcorder from. Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Here is the location of the reset button: 1 Open the LCD Monitor 2 Undo Grip Belt end and pull Lens Cap Cord downward to loosen Grip Belt. 3 Use projection on the Lens Cap to press the [RESET] Button . Where is the reset button on this camcorder, Panasonic PV-DV203 Mini Dv? I can't find it. Also what do it do about everytime i turn the camers on it says "DEW DETECTED EJECT TAPE" There is no...
I haven't used mine for over 2 years because of the mildew detected warning and not being able to find anyone to fix it for me. I just found this on the internet and am going to try it when my battery charges. Seems this is a common error for these palmcorders... good luck! "When you get the "Dew Detected" sign on the screen, remove the battery, give it a good palm hit on the bottom where the battery sits. Hit it a couple good times, put the battery back in and voila it will work guaranteed! I thought it was dumb at first, tried it and it works, hell it works everytime. The blow dryer, plastic bag trick dont work because its an electrical error, not actual dew."
