I have a Zanussi zdq695 built in double-oven. The bottom oven has stopped working completely, but the top oven/grill and clock are still working. Can you suggest what the problem/solution may be please? I currently have the back of the oven off and as yet havent been able to find a problem.

SOURCE: just brought a bosch oven and there no life in the bottom oven

If it has a timer, then make sure it is set manual and not auto, or the oven will not work.
Try pressing 2 buttons at the left of timer and one button on right of timer to set it to manual, if it does not work this way, then try another combination of buttons.
Hope this helps.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: my oven wont get to temperature why?

If oven is getting hot , but not hot enough, then the thermostat is probably faulty.if no heat at all, then you need to replace the oven element.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: oven not working - rest of appliance fine

It is most likely that the oven heating element has failed and will need to be replaced.

This not an overly expensive part to have replaced and should be much less than the cost of buying a new oven although you would need to compare actual costs in your area.

Testimonial: "concise. accurate. excellent. thanks!"

I want to change the light bulb in the oven,.Mod.no.ZDQ695A can you help me.

I will assume that the ZDQ695 bulb replacement procedure is the same as that for the ZDQ695A. The ZDQ695 uses a 25 W appliance light bulb (300 C). Unplug the appliance before starting. Open the oven and remove the racks for space to work. Insert a flat blade screwdriver between the side of the oven and the glass cover above the bulb. With your hand support the cover and pry it away from the wall of the oven until it releases. Push the top of the cover towards the oven wall and use your fingers to pry the bottom of the cover away from the housing. Then remove the cover. Unscrew the old bulb (counterclockwise) and then remove the bulb. Then screw in the new bulb. Replace the glass cover (position the flange so that it is pointing to the back of the oven) by pushing it into the hole to cover the bulb assembly. Replace the shelves and close the oven door before plugging the oven back in.

Zanussi manuals are available here: http://www.zanussi.co.uk/en-gb/Support/Manuals/ . Enter the model number in the search box. Alternatively, the manual for the ZDQ695 is available here: http://kitchen.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/zanussi/zdq_695.html . Click on the Get This Manual button.

I hope this helps.

My oven has a rattling sound coming from a fan situated above the grill but you can't see it.

The fan you refer to is the external cooling fan, if the oven is built ijn, you will have to remove it from the housing to access the fan, and then remove the top cover of cabinet and possibly the rear cover as well.

The bottom oven on my zanussi zuq 875 has stopped working. No power indications of any kind.Top oven works fine. Followed instructions in manual but no power at all.ie; indicator lights, fan ,oven light....

Hello,
Have you checked that the timer clock is set and not flashing, because the rest of the cooker will work after power outage but for the main/fan oven to work the clock needs resetting.

Hope this helps.

The grill element has fallen down because the two

What you need to do is obtain 2 large self tapping screws, and resecure the element to the top that way, or failing that , fit 2 cavity wall screws, these will also do the job, but you may have to enlarge the holes.

Zanussi electric double oven. Top oven not working.

It sounds like a faulty thermostat, because when you turn the thermostat on it should supply the oven element and the neon light, so even if the element is faulty, the neon light should still come on regardless of the element working or not.
Hope this helps.

When operating the large fan oven the fan and light works but there is no heat.I think there is an element around the fan do these burnout or is there a problem with the controls or something.

Yes Dave there is a circular element round the fan costs about £30 squid from allspares and is dead easy to replace for anyone with a little DIY skill. Simply take old out and retrace your steps to replace new one Good luck. Oh and you must re-set the clock for it to work. No clock-no oven
