Take the batteries out of the remote control, then apply a piece of black tape over the IR sensor, Unplug the power, wait a few minutes, now power the unit back up, does the unit still have the same volume high symptom? If so, remove the tape and see if the unit responds to any other commands(other than volume) from the front panel. If it responds to the panel controls, the processor is most likely good. very seldom is the IR transistor bad, if it is no input command will work.

It's going into "safe" mode. Basically you're overdriving your speakers and amp is sensing it. Check for proper him rating at speakers vs output rating of amp. If they match up, then one of your speakers is causing the issue.

if there is a menu button or something like it look for avc auto volume control set to 0

I have to turn my volumn to 100 to hear it and the tv is 1 month old.

The message on crystal reads"no link to base. Move closer to base, try again". I put in a new battery in each phone and not sure if they are charging. i keep getting the same message. What is the problem and how do I solve it?
