Tablet not charging

Hello. We would need more info to help you with this issue. I will list the typical scenarios that your device may be in and a suggested solution to each:

1. the power cord is working and is the correct amperage, the tablet indicates a "charging" light or icon but the battery does not charge.

This would indicate that the battery has failed and would need to be replaced. Battery prices vary but I did find this site that has an inexpensive replacement. http://www.laptopbatterysdirect.co.uk/40652-764-p.asp

2. the power cord is not the original one that came with the tablet - the charging light or icon is not on.

Tablets typically take more amps than many cell phones. Trying to use a power cord or charger that does not meet the minimum requirements and will not charge the battery. Check the back of tablet to see what the input Wattage and Amperage is needed and make sure your charger meets these two ratings. If not, replace the charger with a unit that does match these settings.

Hope this helps. thank you

Can the flex pipe in a 2007 Chevy Cobalt be removed and replaced without welding? Or do I need to purchase a complete downpipe to replace just the flex pipe?

I would think & suggest you go to an auto parts store

I personally wouldn't go to advance,I would go to a private
store & buy only Walker Exhaust Parts

There is no reason to go to the internet

First you should be under the car looking it over &
making notes on paper & taking measurements of
what needs to be replaced

The store counter people will tell you what is avail
when you explain what is worn out.

Hi you will need to replace the flex cable running from your main board to the screen, if this does not work then it is a Software issue and will need to be flashed with latest firmware, good luck

I have a latitude d620 i purchased used a couple of years ago. recently, my battery charger light has not been lighting unless i giggle the battery charger body. this has worked and the battery icon on...

1. Test power adapter for output voltage. Bend the power cable in various directions while doing this to be sure that there is no broken conductors in the cable.
2. If power adapter is Ok, connect it & see if the power LED on the laptop will glow when you jiggle the power connector in various directions. If yes, then the DC jack might be loose or damaged, & need to be either re-soldered or replaced.
3. If not, then disassemble the laptop. Remove any components that attach to the laptop's motherboard first (e.g. battery, hard drive, RAM, wireless card, optical drive, ... etc.)
4. Next, remove the keyboard & the LCD screen.
5. Finally, unscrew all screws that hold the upper cover & lower cover together so that you could gain access to the motherboard.
6. Inspect the solder points connecting the DC jack to the motherboard. Make sure that none of them is loose. If any, re-solder them.
7. Inspect the center pin in the DC jack. Make sure that it is not broken or loose. If it is, then you might need to replace the DC jack.
8. When you are done, re-assemble back the laptop.

Nokia 6500 classic - no sound since replacing screen

This can be a problem for guys repairing this prob on this model themselves. I have repaired this problem several times before by replacing the unit that holds the screen in place. This is the part metal part that has 5 screws in it. once you take the screw out and lift this piece out you will see that there is also a bit of flex attached to it. This flex includes the charging block and also the connections that the speaker is in contact with. First before replacing this part make sure that it is fully connected onto the board and that it isnt just loose. The flex where it connects to the board is doubled over and glued back to back. peeling this apart will help you fit it easier. once LCD and this part is in try plugging the charge in and see what happens. If i is still broken you probably need to replace that bit of flex.
