You probably have a jet that is broken. Sounds to me like if the water gets above a certain level the water starts to leak then that is what it tends to be. pumps will leak water when they turn on if the seal inside the pump is worn out.

Aqua Glass whirlpool, Indulgence collection, pump turns on and works briefly, then jets stop.

First of all, what you have is a WOW pump that has an E-switch for a control.
There is a knob on the top lip of your tub that you turn a 1/4 turn to turn this pump on/off.
There is a small circuit board inside the box on top of the motor. This is likely the source of your problem.
Here is your biggest problem. That little circuit board is not made anymore. We have the e-switch but you will be better off changing out the pump (which you have to do anyway) with a new WOW pump with an air switch and change the switch on the top lip of the tub to an air button which will turn the pump on/off.

Jetted tub is on 2nd floor over kitchen. when jets are on water comes thru kitchen light fixture! Help!

First find access to tub,by code there needs to be access to pump motor, either built into wall or various tubs front skirt is removeable.Fill tub and run to visibly see leak, sounds like bearing assembly gaskets are leaking on pump, could possibly be a jet connection, but if it only does while running its the pump or motor assembly.Hope that helps,in the future make sure water is always above suction intakes or can lead to premature burnout of pump

Leaky pump on jetted tub

You might just need to tighten the bolts. If that doesn't fix it you can dismantle it and replace the O-ring. Be sure to lightly coat the new ring with silicone grease before installing it. A pool supply store should be able to help you with the right part.

Jetted bath tub has stopped working. Motor hums

look on the back of the motor there should be a shaft that you can try to turn to spin free because something inside the pump is blocking it. rate me if this is helpful.

White Whirlpool dish washer. Works great except when it leaks, there appears to be a small hole in the tub. Is there an inexpensive fix or would it need a new tub?

Some dishwashers have a long warranty on the tub , check it out before doing anything to it. If it turns out that there is no warranty go to your local
marine shop and ask for marine tech epoxy, it is very strong, water proof and can stand high heat, I guarantee it will not leak once you use this to seal your leak !

We've had a whirlpool tub with jets for 2 years. About a year ago, the jets stopped working--i.e. you push the button and nothing. Whe have it hooked up to one of those cool water circulator things that...

check behind the access door for a air tube that goes from motor switch to button if either side has come off you have to re attach it just cut off 1/4 inch of the tube before you do. that will make it fit tighter

Lasco whirlpool tub leaks. Water runs out on

Sorry, the tub will have to pulled out to find out what is leaking so it can be fixed. There is just no other way UNLESS you can open up the wall on the blind side of the tube. (but its probably and exterior wall...if the house is vinyl sided, it can be done. If brick, you'll have to pull the tub). If you just wanted to convert to a tub only, maybe Bathfitters has an insert solution...

Leaks from jets along outer wall

This is a hard fix, The jets are glued on to the back of the tub with an epoxy type material. the jets should spin on and off from the inside of the tub. You need to determine if it is the hole where the jet is that's leaking or if it is the jet assembly and tubing that is leaking. If it is the jet hole that is leaking, spin the jet off and use aquarium grade silicone (Lowes carries it)
spread this around the piece sticking thru the tub and spin the jet back on. This is a hit or miss fix. No easy fix if it is the tubes or jet assembly, full access necessary for this repair.

Cleaning a whirlpool tub

The jets turn yellow from exposure to the sun, not much you can do except replace the jets (costly). What is leaking? if you broke the seal on a jet it will leak and have to be resealed.

No whirlpool jets

It sounds like the motor needs to be lubricated or there is debris keeping the impeller from turning without the help of a littl force. I would have a professional that deals with whirlpool tubs come and lube the motor.
