There may be various reasons for this issue. We have a lot to try. I will suggest some troubleshooting steps, please try to out. Restart the computer and press and hold the F2 key and check if the computer boots to BIOS. If it boots, the issue is not with the screen. You can restart again and press and hold the F10 key, this will access the Recovery partition, from there either you can run a System Restore or a System Recovery to resolve the issue.
If the computer is not able to access the BIOS, then the issue is most probably with the hardware. But, I will suggest that you reset the RAM modules and try again, if the RAM modules or not properly seated, this may happen. If the issue persist even after this, hold a torch light towards the LCD screen after starting the computer, if you are able to view the screen in that light, the LCD back light is gone and a replacement will be required.
