I can't figure out how to convert my snugli from baby facing inward, to baby facing outward

  • kabrady Jul 12, 2008

I am having the same problem. I can't seem to figure it out. Someone please help!

  • Anonymous Oct 17, 2008

I was given a Snugli without the instructions. Instructions for this model don't seem to be available on the Evenflo Web site. The label with the model # doesn't look the same as the one they use as an illustration, and so I'm not sure what to enter on the form. Help?

If you are using the same one that I have...you put it on the same way as if the baby if front facing against you instead you place the baby outward and the piece that would normally support their head folds down in half away from you and the 2 straps that supported the head now holds that piece folded down and gives the baby added support when you lean forward. I hope this helps if not post another problem and I will try to explain again. Good Luck...

I went to this website:

https://plweb.evenflo.com/replacement_parts.aspx

typed in the model number and manufacture date (both are on a label on my Snugli), and a pdf of the instruction manual came up, which gives directions on how to convert it. Hope this helps!

2000 Nissan Pathfinder struts. The Haynes manual says that the notch in the upper spring seat is supposed to face outwards. The notch on the strut I removed was facing inwards. Which way is correct?

I know, right. I had the same problem using the Haynes manual when I replaced mine on my '97 4WD Pathfinderl. With the notch facing away from the vehicle, it does not look right, because the angle of the upper seat does not match the coil spring winding angle. I didn't take note of the location of the notch prior to removal. I still installed the upper spring seat with the notch facing outward per the manual. I still wonder if this is correct. What have you found out?

is it possible that your PO number stands for produced on number you may be able to use that as the manufactor date

on my snugli you put the baby in facing out and you fold the top of the front down and buckle it where youwould for the head support if they were facingin hope it helps and if it does can you leave me a good rating thanks

Purple legs

Which way is she facing? I have a 9 month old baby boy and this doesn't happen, and he is a little hefty! I am wondering if your lower straps are too tight. If she is facing forward, does she lean forward having the material cut into her legs? Maybe that causes the circulation loss. I always have my son face inward. He likes it more and it is more natural.
