The easiest way to transfer your pictures and videos would be to send them via Bluetooth to your laptop. That said, if you don't have bluetooth on your laptop then you can use a wireless network to do the same. Simply connect your cell phone to the wireless network, share a folder on your laptop, and use a file management app like "Astro" or "ES File Explorer" to transfer the files from your phone to the shared folder on your laptop. Pictures and videos are commonly located in the SDCARD/DCIM folder on your phone. For more information search for tutorials on transferring files from one PC to another across a wireless network (because that's basically what you're doing).

One way to do it is if you have a laptop with bluetooth. You can pair your phone with your laptop and transfer files that way.

Use PCMCIA Firewire card.

Hi, connect the cam and PC using 4 pin firewire cable. Switch on the cam. Open Windows Movie Maker and import the video from device.
You can then use Move Maker to any disc burning software like Nero to create the movie disks.

If u have sony handycam then u got data cable for transferring data.
Use it for that u donot need any type of drivers for using that.
Otherwise use memory card reader if it is.

I need to download from a digital video camera (sony dcr trv285e) to a laptop. i have lost all drivers and softwares. i manage to find the usb driver but i cannot transfer the video to my laptop.Is there a software that i need?

From my understanding.. S video is just another way to output video from your laptop to your tv.. as for sounds you'll need a cable that connect to your earphones or your laptop to the audio input of your tv.
