Hi,

from what I'm seeing for the dishwasher, an E1 error means that the door is not properly closed. So, please look at the door of the machine to make sure that nothing is broken or that the dishwasher isn't too full. Thank you.

Oven flashing F and E1 codes when i turn oven on it ays to turn oven off and flashes F1 nd E1 codes

If this is a Kitchenaid, Roper or Whirlpool range, this error indicates an EEPROM error in the control board. Ifthe F1 E1 trouble code continues after you've disconnected the power for over 30 seconds, you need to replace the electronic control board (clock). You can often find parts online with the model number of the unit. (Try partselect.com or searspartsdirect.com (if Sears sold the model).)

I hope this helps.

Code E1

E1 or E2 Thermistor Failure

The dryer will not operate if the exhaust temperature drops below 18 degrees F. or exceeds 250 degrees F.

When the thermistor circuit is open (>50K ohms), the error code E1 flashes in the display.

When the thermistor circuit is shorted (<500 ohms), the error code E2 flashes in the display.

Normal thermistor resistance values:
60 degrees F. - 15.3K ohms.
70 degrees F. - 11.9K ohms.
80 degrees F. - 9.2K ohms.

Take the top off the dryer and inside you'll find the "tech sheet." It has instructions for removing the front panel and locating the thermistor.

LG dishwasher error code E1

E1 is a code that the dishwasher displays after detecting a leak. There is a sensor on the pan at the very bottom of the unit. Take the bottom front panel off, look under the unit at the hose coming off the pump and your fill line to be sure no water is dripping. Run the unit in a wash cycle while doing this if possible.
