If u enter PIN code incorrectly 3 times, PIN will be blocked n phone will ask you for PUK(Personal Unblocking Key). This is a 8 digit code. If u enter Incorrect PUK for 10 times Your SIM will be lock permanently.
Your
cell phone service provider can(Call from other no. n ask tell them for puk of ur no.) give you the PUK code aft3r answering simple security question. Later enter PUK than enter new PIN, confirm new pin. Go to -Setting -Security -SIM lock -off Disable SIM n Later Phone Lock PS:(You have to block your PIN to get access to PUK, Default PIN- 0000, 12345)
For PIN When using the phone for the first time or when the PIN requirement is enabled, you must enter the PIN supplied with the SIM card. You can disable this feature by using the PIN lock menu. For PIN 2 When you access a menu requiring the PIN2, you must enter the PIN2 supplied with the SIM card. For details, contact your service provider.
Most likely you have put a pin code on this phone. This code is stored in the SIM card and when you power up the phone it asks for a pin code before you can operate the phone. In some cases when you enter the wrong pin code too many times the SIM card will lock up. You need to contact the phone service provider for assistance to unlock/remove the pin code.
Hi,
Please follow the instructions carefully but if the code fails to work, then ,make no more than 4 attempts as it may lock your phone. Can you let me know how you get on with it as well please. Thanks. Please also make sure that you back up any information on your phone as in certain cases the resetting also removes your contacts from the SIM and your pictures.
j700 unlock method
Basically the SP lock needs to be removed before the Network lock is disabled, so if you only have SP lock on, you need to turn the Network lock back to active, disable the SP lock and then disable Network lock. A reminder 'how to' is below:
Do a custom reset:
*2767*2878# once this has finished rebooting turn the phone off.
Next a SIM card from a different service provider needs to be pushed half in - (Push it fully in then slide it back out by about 1/2 a centimeter),
Turn on the phone - you will now see an "Insert SIM" message,
Now perform a full reset:
*2767*3855#
When the phone powers off, quickly push the SIM card fully in, and let
the phone power back up.
After you do the reset, check and make sure that your Network lock is active by pressing *#7465625#
If it isn't active you must use this code to reactivate it:
*7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
Then you have to deactivate the SP lock first. To do that you need to input:
*7465625*77*00000000*00000000# (this will reset the lock)
Then you enter:
#7465625*77*00000000# (to disable the SP lock).
Then you disable the Network lock:
#7465625*638*00000000#
