I just replaced my old Printmaster with the 2011 Platinum. I designed business cards using the template from the list. But when I print, the cards are too large to fit on the page. I've tried reducing the size from 100% to 80% and get 2 vertical cards that take up the whole length of the page! Second, I want to colorize the entire background graphic I have chosen for my cards - like I could do with my old Printmaster software. But the only option I see is the one where I decrease the intensity of the color on the background I've got. Thanks, Sandy

Hi,
According to your problem you want print a business card and face the with font size & background
colour. It may caused your printer settings.

# First check your paper size in your printer propreties. It must be visiting card size.
# check printing resolution.
# printing quality in printing preferences should be suitable for a card printing.

for your second problem find the background graphics option in your printer properties and set it
properly.
For supported resolution, background image see ith product mannual

Business card template with ten images have turned one image into design of my choice and now want to duplicate other 9 images with same thing thought copy and paste would work but it won't let me copy...
At home, we mostly use Printmaster for making greeting cards, but I'm guessing the procedure is similar. When you complete one design, select Finish Project, or similar. Then there's a menu option to Save the project. Give it a name, then Save.
Next, begin a new project, this time choosing the next image. This will prove to be a tedious effort, but you need to Finish and Save each one as a separate project. Of course, once it's done you can simply choose any one of them from your Open Saved Project list and quickly make any needed changes, then print.

I cannot install PrintMaster Platinum 2011 on my Windows 7 computer. Is there a way to do it? It says it is compatible with windows 7.
Administrator privileges are required to properly install the program on Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7 and Mac OS X for PrintMaster Platinum 2011 .

Using mouse, right click on the "setup" and Run as "Administrator"

Our business has been using Printmaster 15 for a few years now. We recently bought a new computer with windows 7. Printmaster 15 is obviously not compatible with Windows 7. I bought printmaster 2011...
You can try version 15 in compatibility mode:

Troubleshoot Compatibility
This can help with some (but not all) programs/drivers:
1) Uninstall the program if it's already installed. Then when you install/reinstall it instead of double clicking on the install file right click it and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility"
2) Then click "Try Recommended Settings" and in the next window click "Start the Program" to install it.
3) After it installs see if it works correctly. Please note - some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

I having problems with Printmaster 2.0. I cannot
I had a print master program which I used for a couple of years to make business cards I bought platinum 2.0 and it doesn't work the same ... I can't get it to print a sheet of 10 cards only one prints in the top left corner. I am using Win 7 ... should I go back to the old program and down load the updated drivers? or can you tell me how to fix my problem. Thanks Wayne

Where can I acquire a manual for Printmaster Platinum version 18?
i couldnt locate one on the new but if you launch the program it will have a help feature under the list on the MENU bar on printmaster you might have to print it... or call Broderbund for a replacement ... you might even fine one on ebay ....
