I have an HP PSC 1350 All-In-One printer/scanner. It is physically connected to a PC running Vista Home. The Vista printer drivers for it are not available from HP, but Vista has the printer driver included with the OS. I can scan from the Vista PC by choosing Import Twain or Camera/Scanner from an image editor (Windows Paint, PS, etc.). I can share the printer with the other PC that's connected to the same hub, using XP. How do I share the scanner with the XP PC? HP has the complete driver set for XP and I've installed it, but I can't find the scanner from that PC. Tried adding hardware from control panel, but the scanner drivers aren't on XP, and none of the .inf files installed with the HP drivers work. They show no products when selected. I can't find on the Vista PC where to share the scanner apart from the printer object. Any help is appreciated, Thanks! joe

Need driver for PSC 1300 printer for vista

Hello, This means that HP doesn't have any driver for Vista at the moment However, have a look at what they recommend: "A full feature software and driver package for Windows Vista is not available for your product. However, the Windows Vista operating system installed on your computer contains a basic driver solution for your product. With the basic driver, the buttons on the product do not function and some of the advanced product features are not available. However, using the workaround procedures in this document, you can still print from a software program. You can also import and view images on a memory card, if your product has a memory card slot." Hope this helps
