Help me..whats going on with windows xp home edition

Recently, i installed a windows vista inspirat interface on my windows XP home edition pc,(just change an icon and menu-make it looks like wondows vista) after finish installation, i found it has limited features and the more worse is when i click at start-->all program--> empty!!
one more thing, some of the document on that pc was lost!!
is it the windows already damage? or there is any way to repair or just format it as a last idea..
p/s: my computer has many types of viruses.
is it wondows xp home edition cannot support vista inspirat features?

When installing a new operating system, all file saved will be deleted. Since you've lost all data, you might as well format the entire drive, and then reinstall the vista inspirat thing. Then, download an Avast! anti virus form avast.com. Download the home version, which is free and scan the computer for any viruses. Delete every last one of the suckers.

I have a Garuda phone (CDMA-2000 1X Wireless Local loop Phone HTP-801). I want to connect internet by this but it can be only connect at Window98se,2000 and xp.It does not install on vista. Please help me...

If it does not install in vista(if you want vista appearance and also to install the software).the possible way to install is:
1.format the pc and install windows xp.now you will ask that i want a vista appearance why should i format and install xp,so i have also have a solution to it.follow it on second point.
2.now install vista inspirat 2 which will give you a vista appearance same like vista.
3.install the software you want ,now it will support your pc,because it is xp and the most important factor is that you have a vista appearance.

Upgrading the OS Windows XP not possible

Upgrading from OS Windows XP:

you can upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista(ultimate, premium, home, business.......),
you have to buy a Windows Vista CD and install a fresh copy or format.

Some Minimum Requirements:

i) Min 2GB RAM or atleast 1GB RAM(if you have>1GB RAM installation of Windows Vista will not continue)

II) External Graphic Card. for some versions of Windows Vista(to run Aero Interface, special feature only   in some versions of Windows Vista)

NOTE:

"Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor" is a software from Microsoft which you can download from internet, this  can help you determine which features and edition of Windows Vista will run on your computer.

i.e., when u load this software on windows xp it will suggest which upgrade version of windows vista          will suit your system(based on you system configuration. or hardware components.) and then            you can install the upgraded version of windows xp(mostly windows vista home,.........)

Thanking You

Upgrading windows xp to vista

You can upgrade from your current edition of Microsoft Windows XP or Windows 2000 to a corresponding or better edition of Windows Vista by purchasing and installing an upgrade copy of Windows Vista.
While selecting the edition of Windows Vista that's right for you, it's important to clearly understand what hardware your PC will need to ensure the features you want will run reliably.
