Wrong dvd region code bought from UK i live in the usa

NTSC/PAL/SECAM Color System

Europe used PAL/SECAM format, check settings on tv

The dvds discs u bought from the UK is play on only the DVD player that play PAL signal format. Where u live Canada,US or Mexico?DVD players in these countries.It play only NTSC signal format.U can't change DVD players regions format,only can a DVD players that have regions free to play all DVDs discs of the world.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE USA OR CANADA THEN YOUR IN REGION 1 AND IT WILL PLAY WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING BUT IF YOU LIVE IN ANOTHER REGION OR YOUR DVD PLAYER IS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR SOME REASON THEN IT WONT PLAY.ALL DVDs MADE IN THE USA OR CANADA ARE REGION 1.

Hi, if its saying wrong region. then either your player or disk is incompatable. region 1 ntsc ( USA ) Region 2 ( UK ) et,c. check your players region coding is compatable for your country, and that you are also playing a dvd with the same region coding as the player. alternatively is to try and find a region free or multi-region solution. Try to unlock the region on your player using the folowing link. DVDs and DVD players have different region codes in different countries from 0-6 e.g. USA is region 1 and UK is region 2. So a USA DVD would not play on a UK DVD player. Hope this helps.

type the make of dvd in the search see if any region codes are available for it. or post make and model of dvd player back see if any one has any region codes for it.
