Hey George, not having spray when you're ready to clean can be frustrating.

The problem is not a twisted hose. The hose itself is way too stiff. It pulls the vacuum around instead of expanding to reach. I hate this hose and it's too bad, because the vacuum works well, but trying to use the hose attachment it futile because it just doesn't stretch out unless the vacuum is pinned up against something to keep it from rolling and tipping over.

Sometimes we will get a lemon even in small equiptment but I would encourge you to not allow call again but email tech. support too see if you get the right person that will see you thru to the end.

NEVER USE THE HARD BRUSHES ON CARPET ! You can burn up your motor, break the drive belt,or strip the drive gears The black bristle brushes are for all carpet types.
The hard bristle brushes are made for hardwood and other smooth surfaces.

sound like the pump fail, it will also cause solenoid to fail and need replacing 19.00 bucks pump and solenoid 11.00 bucks, easy and cheap to replace yourself. go to provac.com for parts. even if you get both part but one still working it good to have that extra part laying around since you going to keep the vac for awhile.

I had the same problem. Ordered a PCB from Bissel it took 2 weeks to arive. I fitted it, then it blew again, turned out the brush motor was short circuiting. Ordered a new motor it took 10 weeks. I have now had to order the second circuit board.

Over 3 months to get this vac fixed - my advice is - don't buy Bissels!
