I need operating instructions-printer given to me, I have it connected but cannot get it to print so need, please, instructions.

You do not say which operating system you are using.

In Windows operating systems, generally:

Start > (Control Panel) > Printer(s) > right click on Epson SX100 icon > Printing Preferences > Maintenance > Ink Cartridge Replacement > follow on screen instructions > head cleaning >print test page.

or

Print a document > Print Dialog Box > click "How To..." > Maintenance > Ink Cartridge Replacement > follow on screen instructions > head cleaning >print test page.

Use the setup wizard given in the CD along with the printer.
Check if the printer drivers have been installed in the laptop.
Donot connect the printer before installing the software.
Initially use the CD and follow the instructions on the screen
You will be prompted to connect the Printer after the installation is done.
Connect and then try a test print when instructed.

You can follow the instructions that came with your printer should be a section on how to set up your printer to print wirelessly. if you dont have it, go to the printers website they will have instructions for you.

You will need to clear the printer queue. The instructions for doing so depend upon what OS you are running on your computer, and which make and model printer you have.
Without specifics, I can only instruct you to go to the printer manufacturer's support site online, (like www.hp.com, etc), enter your model number, and search "clear print queue".
You should be able to follow the instructions or solution given to cancel the print job and clear the memory.

Realize that the scan option only funtions on local connection

well writen- if all is as you say that just leaves the drivers for your printer...

go to this page and select your operating system (win XP- Vistia) then save the drivers to desktop.
Now- disconnect your printer from your computer and don't reconnect until you are instructed to do so. OK-run your printer drivers and follow directions-connect when told to-
And that should do it.

What Operating System do you have? ie; Windows XP, Windows Vista?

1. Do you have the instructions and Print Driver for the printer?
2. Do you have the printer cable to connect to PC?
3. If you have 1,and 2 then
   
4. Put the Disk that came with the printer into the computer.
5. It should start up if not you will need to go to my computer and look for the drive you put the disk into and click on it and then Select the Run.EXE file
6. Follow on screen instructions
   
7. Once prompted connect the printer cable to the printer
   

After all drivers are installed you should be able to print from your PC.
