We have an oversize hdtv picture and oversize blue show discription (at the bottom) suddenly. We must have pressed a wrong button.

I have a hp c4240, when i scan pictures (8x10) there is space around the picture, it will not resize to the size of the picture. adjusting the picture size and adjusting borders make no difference, did...

take pritner to factory defaults .
press cancell and power button at same time.
you will see message on screen enter special key combo. then press blue green and gray button in a sequesnce. it will show you support on screen. press blue button 2 times it will show reset menu. press ok on it. then press blue button 2 times it will show semifull reset press ok.

Hitachi HD 1080 has blue power light on but no picture

Press the reset button...it's on the bottom to the right (underneath the TV). Same thing happened to me.

Cracked screen and down screen

If the double images are located at the bottom on one side, you might have cracked the mirror inside the set and it has been displaced making the picture in that area bad (especially if the rest of the picture is OK)
