I have a sony bravia kdl 32l400, went to watch a movie on the dvd player. I had no sound on the movie i was watching. I figured my dvd player was broke. Went back to watch my tv then had no sound on my TV. Do you have any idea why my sound is gone? I have tried adjusting my sound setting in my menu settings.

The panel or TCON board has failed, the solution is the same replace the panel. Not worth the cost, get a new TV

YOU ARE 100% CORRECT it is the cameras ....... as a tv camera wears out green is the last to get weak . so the picture turns green crt tvs do the same thing

Seems its time to replace lamp in your Sony KDF-E50A10
When lamp in TV got weak in result, standby light start blinking and if lamp got broken / dead, you will see lamp light ON.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual, please buy Sony original lamp for TV safety.

This is a characteristic of the dynamic backlight used on this set.Turn off the dynamic contrast in the customer menu this should solve your problem.
