Tv has a yellow tint. what is the problem? - RCA D61W20 61" Rear Projection Television

The yellow tint can be caused by a faulty lens where the filters are burnt out. Normally this happens when the blue filter burns you get a yellow picture on the screen.

Unfortunately, this can be expensive to repair.

My tv has a yellow tint on it it is a 60 inch hitachi.

Make sure, if your using component cables ,that they match up color for color and are plugged in.If it looks good try adjusting your colors on the TV.You can also try unplugging the TV for 5 min. and then plug it back in.This might be a TV issue.

this problem actually come from crt socket ic board (just patch behind the picture tube) need to properly clean and resolder back the joint please consult with your tv repairer and i think it not cost much
