However it's important to note that sometimes your problem may actually be a "General Error" which is different from a "Service Required" issue.

Sounds like your talking about a service timer reset, you should be able to find a solution on google, if you don't get anything please let me know.

Just so you know it's usually a whole sequence of pressing your paperfeed button.

To replace an ink cartridge using the maintenance button, follow these steps. Turn the printer on, the power light should be on and not flashing.
Open the printer cover. Press the maintenance button (ink-drop symbol). The print head moves to the black ink cartridge replacement position first. Press the maintenance button again to switch to the color cartridge replacement position.

just wondering if you unplugged the data cable would it help ?? could be waiting for data hope this helps regards Jim

First, disconnect your printer from the power supply socket(not your pc) then after a few minutes, reconnect and see if the printer has reset and back to normal.

Should this fail, uninstall and then reinstall your printer.
