I cant reset password for my dlink 1360..dlinkap and command 192.168.0.50 is not working after using reseting button..

If you can't remember the password, follow these directions to reset the access point to factory default. You can then log in with a username of admin and a blank password.

You don't need to connect via ethernet. In your laptop set the IP address to 192.168.0.2. subnet 255.255.255.0
This will probably temporarily disconnect you from your internet but you can reset the IP address back later. It might be a good idea to write your current settings down for later.
Open your browser and enter dlinkap or 192.168.0.50
You will connect to the Dlink AP

Resetting your D-Link router's Wi-Fi password is easy:

• Type your router's IP address -192.168.0.1- into your Web browser.
• At the login screen, select "Admin" from the drop down menu and enter your admin password.
• Once you access the Web configuration screen, click "Setup" in the top menu.
• Select the "Wireless Settings" link on the left-hand side.
• From there, click on the "Manual Wireless Connection Setup" button.
• Scroll down to the field representing my "Pre-Shared Key". If you don't see it, select a security mode from the dropdown menu at the bottom of the screen first.
• Type in a new password. (I use a hybrid WPA/WPA2 security mode.)

The Forgotten Admin Password
If you forget your Web configuration password, you're stuck: you have no way to change any settings on your router. Your only recourse is to use a paperclip or other pointy object to reset your router to its factory settings. With the
paperclip, hold down the tiny reset button on the back of your router for about five seconds. Your router lights will blink to confirm the factory reset. You can now use the router's default password to log into its Web configuration screen (look in your router manual if you can't remember what this is). Once you're in, be sure to change this password to something unique.


Remember to save your settings when your done.

Maybe you have the wrong 192... Go command prompt and type in "ipconfig" without the quotes. scroll up and find the default gateway (default gate way . . . : 192...) and type that in your browser and press enter.
If that doesn't work, go to your network connections and right click on the one that is connected click properties, click on Internet Protocol Version 4, click properties, and make sure all the settings are automatic. Restart computer, repeat first part.
If that doesn't work, reset your router and access point. Than reconnect and repeat first part.

To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the router. The default IP address is dlinkap. When logging in, the username is admin and leave the password box empty.

Reset using the button on the back the do an ipconfig - so if you ip is 192.168.1.1 try that to get in to the router
