Hi,
It should be possible to get a replacement. If you can let me know the model number I may be able to find a supplier for you.
In the meantime, if your oven has another knob the same for the grill you should be able to switch them temporarily when you want to use the oven and switch back when you need to use the grill. Usually the knobs just pull off, but I can't say with 100% certainty without knowing which model number you have.
Please post back with these details and I will try to assist you further.
Regards,
BElectric
Sorry. I only just received your reply. You will probably need to replace the oven selector switch. Access to the switch area is generally from above but you will probably need to remove the front panel as well if/when replacing it. Unfortunately the model number you supplied is incomplete. There are numerous models of HBN13M5 - some single, some double. The complete model number should be in the format of HBM13M5 60B/01. It would help me provide a comprehensive solution if you could find the complete model number. On Bosch ovens, this is usually on a sticker on the left side of the oven rim and should be visible with the door open. Thanks, BElectric
Thanks for getting back to me.You're absoloutely right about the sticker, the full number is HBN13M550B/03
meant to say, its a double unit with the knobs situated above the top grill
Thanks for the information. I will begin compiling all of the relevant information for you - part number, suppliers, how to replace etc. It would also help me if you could submit another help request in the exact same way you submitted this one. The reason for this is that I am unable to paste any images or links to suppliers in these additonal comments - or even write in paragraphs!. I can only do these things in the original main solution, so if you could post another one, it will be much easier to provide the correct information in an easy to read and follow way. No need to write any detail - just submit it in the Bosch oven category and write something along the lines of "need to replace oven switch" in the description. I will pick it up as soon as it comes through. Sorry for any inconvenience, but it really is much easier this way! Regards, BElectric.

You will need to get a replacement knob for it as either the spring clip or plastic has broken.

the model no is hbn13m5.0. I have swapped the knobs about and the oven one works the grill indicating that it must be a problem with the spindle/shaft.None of the knobs work the oven unfortunately. Just wondering how easy it would be to open up the control panel and have a look
