Hello, to recover deleted MP3 songs, photo and video from any storage media, Kernel recovery for digital media software is a nice tool. I used it once and this software work well to recover deleted photo, mp3 songs and videos from my digital camera. Stop using this player right now in case that anything new data there would rewrite your deleted files.
And then, plunge this player to your computer and use a deleted data recovery program to get back your wanted files back.
Deleted file recovery freeware
This freeware would always do its utmost to restore all your deleted files back just in the same ways as it has successfully restored the inaccessible data of my friend off from his WD external hard drive. Just give it a shot here:

You can connect your digital recorder to PC. Then you can try to recover your deleted files with Easy Drive Data Recovery software:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyDriveDataRecovery/

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

I am using the Olympus AS-5000 DSS Player Pro v 5 Transcription Kit which works well if my clients are using an Olympus digital recorder. Now I have a new client using her Phillips 9500 digital recorder...

Yes, save the file as normal. Then copy it. then rename the copy with a format the phillips likes

Example--the dss saves as a mp4--the phillips is older and wants mp3

Olympus DSS Player Pro Woes!

Could it be that the files are just being regularly accessed by one of the server admin tools and the DSS Player application interprets an open file as 'being transcribed'

What happens when a copy of a .DSS file is made to an operators machine and then loaded locally for transcription?

Converting wma files to wav files on olympus DDS player version 7

When using the DSS Player v7 software the program is unable to convert WMA to WAV. The option you see there only works when it is a .dss file that needs to be converted to .wav. In order to convert WMA to WAV you will need to locate a third party software program that does this type of conversion.

Go to google and search on WMA to WAV conversion editors.
