Parrot Car Kit "no signal" detected problem

the kit has had a software crash, you can try unplugging the parrot, then waiting 5 mins then plug back in. If this does not work you will need to have the software written into the parrot using a special update cable, you can buy these online but I would recomend you contact your local Parrot acredited installer, they will all carry one of these cables. Try Parrot.com for a list of engineers.

The software has failed, this may be due to the Parrot being wired wrong, Did the kit have the word "goodbye" when switching off?. if not then you will need to make sure the wiring is correct or this may happen again. You can try removing power from the Blue brain box and this may work otherwise you will need to have new software put into the kit. If the kit still says no signal after a power reeboot you will need an engineer to write new software into the brain. The parrot web site has a list of all approved engineers.

The parrot car kit varies, there are about 10 different types of the parrot car kit and the connections varies slightly. Just follow these steps to connect ur galaxy phone to the car kit.


For this model of the parrot car kit,after the installation on your car,ensure the car is on

Parrot CK3000:

1. Start the car and ensure the car kit is on.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone, and search for Bluetooth devices.
3. Select "Parrot CK" from the list.
4. Enter 1234 on your phone when prompted for a password or code.
5. The Parrot CK3000 will sound a beep when connected to your phone.

Your phone has now been paired with the Car Kit and is ready for use.

For other models of the parrot car kit,repeat step 1 & 2 above and for step 3, u select the model name like "parrot EVOL" for the CK3000 Evolution model.

You can try removing power from the Parrot and it may come back to life but it will probably need a software update. You will need a special cable to do this which you can but but it will be cheaper to take the car to your nearest Parrot dealer. Parrot web site has a list of certified engineers who all carry this special cable.

Visit a parrot dealer (listings are on their website) and have them order a new screen for you and replace it.

no signal means the software inside the parrot has crashed, you will need to remove the main control box and update the software but you will need an update cable, this can not be done via bluetooth. try parrot.com and look for yor nearest engineer or dealer

it sounds like it has been wired wrong, no signal is normally the result of the bad wiring or jump starting. you will need to have the software upgraded but it can only be done via update cable, i would go to parrot.com and find you nearest engineer, they will do this and check out the fitting.

No signal significate that you have a trouble on the screen. It has to be replaced.

sometime, it my be in relation with the install.
Just a simple question, did you install it by yourself? if yes, did you connect the mute cable of the kit? cause if you disconnect it and try to make working the kit and see if the mute is working may be the explanation. signal treatment.

(except trouble of the kit), after a while plugging on a 12v dc only can be the explanation. Do you have the message "good bye" on the display when you switch off the ignition key? If not, that could also be due to the fuses inverted to the vehicle between the 12 dc and the 12 ignition. Then you just have to inverse fuses.

the blue control box behind the dash will have to have new software, you will need to remove the box from the car and plug it into a computer using a parrot software cable. otherwise try parrot.com and find one of thier accredited installers, they all carry equipment to do this.
