Hi Scott,

I've gone through the manual,

http://www.europen.com.br/html_new/download/arquivos/M84Pro_A.PDF

But i can't seem to find anything about setting up an ip address. The Manual does have some good trouble shooting tips for the ethernet connecton in section 5

Hope this helps

Why does our Bar code readers not recognize new bar codes when the only difference is with the prefix number. It was changed from 11C to 12C.

Possible fualty printhead. make sure head is clean. Use Isopropyl alchol and lint free cloth to clean head(don't be too gentle). Or it could be a faulty head.

My network can't detect the new sato cl408e we just purchased.

1.Log into router
2. Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off)
3.Note router name you are connecting to.
4.. Check the laptop, desktop, printer do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses.
5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address.
6.Note router name you are connecting to.
7. Move the device about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet.
This is for all routers to set up wirelessly.

No ip info on menu

There is a tiny button on the print server back plane that you can press with a paper clip. This will print out a label with your IP address information. Get the IP address (hope that the printer is set for DHCP) and enter this into a web browser. This will take you to a web interface that will let you make configuration changes to the print server and printer. If the printer is set to static IP, change the IP address of your PC to be in the same subnet as the printer and then fire up the browser.
The user name for the printer is ADMIN and the password is 1234 by default. You can also download ZebraNet Bridge from Zebra's web site. This application will find your printer on the network and let you install fonts, upgrade firmware, change settings, etc.

Need to determine the ip address for SATO M8485SE

2 ways you can determine the IP setup.
1: You can use Sato's ip net software, available from the Sato web page. This software will discover the printer on the network through a connected PC.
2: With the NIC carad inserted, the IP address can be set through the front panel by depressing the line key while powering up the printer. You can scroll through to the settings and change to the needed IP address

Network printer

Connect one end of an ethernet cable into the ethernet port on the printer and the other one into a free port on the router. Then, using the install CD, tell it that you are attaching a printer on the network. The software should automatically detect the printer on the network and set itself up for it.
