When i download dictionary it hav .jar format, and in my mobile it not open .jar file

Its very simple, you open any web site, which are providing downloads of jar programs,either directly to your mobile or to your PC. Then transfer the jar file to your mobile if downloaded to PC and run it.Thats all, Dictionary is now ready to use.This way i loaded in my cell last week and now it works like anything. Try and enjoy.

you can use the .jar files. Now after copying this to your phone Goto menu>my stuff> other . Now select the app. Phone wether to open it up by installing, select yes. Hope this will help...

Jar file be easily open in a computer, but if you trying to open a .jar file in your Samsung phone, then you cannot open it directly. A jad creator is needed which you can download in the internet. It also required tk file explorer. You have to download this two from internet. After downloading you'll require a pc suite software of your mobile phone. Install a pc suite software of your mobile in your computer. after installation you have to connect your mobile phone to pc via data cable wire which came with your mobile phone. After connecting it open the TK file explorer which you have downloaded from the internet and follow the instruction for installation.

SOME MOBILES COME WITH PRE INSTALLED DICTIONARY.IF IT'S NOT THERE ON YOUR MOBILE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE DICTIONARY APPLICATION IN .jar FORMAT FROM MANY MOBILE SITE LIKE GETJAR.COM,BROTHERSOFT.COM ETC.

I am getting the message unsupported file type when I try to install a dictionary

you need to create an HTML file having a link to your .jar file. Open that html file on your phone' browser. It will ask you to install that application.

Your phone need to support java. Most (older) china mobiles do not. Just verify this.

You can often overstep the maximum size limits, so try to install the dictionary proto on your mobile even if it is larger than recommended, or it has not been tested yet. Installation procedure First of all you need to have Samsung PC Studio installed on your computer. To download it, go to Samsung Download Center and choose the model name of your mobile.
Installation using Samsung PC Studio:

1. Connect phone to PC
2. Run Samsung PC Studio if not running
3. Open file manager (Click "Manage Files")
4. Copy .jad and .jar to "Other Files" folder on phone. (You can download these files from our website)
5. Disconnect phone and go to "Other Files", run .jad file to install and run the application.

If a message "Unsupported file format" appears, then it means that installing applications from PC is blocked in your mobile. In that case the simplest solution is to install per WAP.
