My printer has started to print doubling the text that prints down the center of the page. I have tried all of the cleaning suggestions provided in the manual, and have replaced both the black and color ink cartridges. Problem continues. Any suggestion?

There should be a toolbox application. Go to the program files folder for it and look for it. Sometimes it may be on the start menu programs. Under the printer. That app has an alighnment option It prints a series of + signs and you have to choose the best ones. and lines.

That is all I can think of.

First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn thepage upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for therest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up onboth sides of the page so it reads correctly.

How can I do double-sided printing with my Canon MP460?

Hi there!You printer does not have an automatic duplex(double-sided printing)so you have to make a manual double-sided printing.When you start to print something , in the widow of the printer click on the preferences and look for the option "Print on both sides" or "Manual double-sided printing".When you start the printing the printer will print page page 1,3,5,7..... on the one side of the paper.After the printer finish you have to take the papers and put them back in the printer with the other side of the paper.Then the printer will start print page2,4,6,8,.....If you need any other help please replay!Tghaky for using Fixya!!

Hi how do you print double sided please

This printer does not have a duplex unit and cannot print double sided prints automatically.
The only way to print double sided is to print page 1 and the insert the page back into the printer tray with the page upside down and then print page 2. Repeat this for the other pages.
You need to do a test print first to work out which way to insert the page upside down in the printer paper tray so the printed text is aligned correctly on both sides of the page.

Pixma IP3000 will not print

try to do this set of instruction & solution:

Go to Start | Control Panel | Printers And Other Hardware | Printers And Faxes. Double-click the icon for your printer to open the Documents window and clear any pending print jobs by selecting Cancel All Documents from the Printer drop-down menu
Try printing a test page from the printer, not from Windows XP. Most printers have a built-in test function that's activated by holding down one or more buttons while the printer is starting up. Check your printer's user manual for instructions. If this page prints successfully, you know the problem is either with your connection or with the software in your computer.
Check your printer's USB or parallel connection.
Try printing something simple from Windows' Notepad. To open Notepad, go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | Notepad, type a few lines of text in a document, and try printing it. If it successfully prints, the problem is with the software program you originally tried to print from.
Try printing using Windows XP's generic printer driver. Open and run the Add Printer Wizard. When you get to the Install Printer Software screen, select Generic under Manufacturer and Generic/Text Only under Printers (see Figure 2).
Select No for Do You Want To Use This Printer As The Default Printer? (see Figure 3). Click Next.
When prompted on the next screen, tell Windows XP to print a test page. If the page successfully prints, then you probably have a problem with your installed printer driver. Either update or reinstall the driver.

Problems with Color printing

Click Start - All programs - HP - HP Solution center.

Click Settings - Print settings - Printer settings

Click on the Features tab. Set the print quality to best. Click on the Colors tab. Under color management - Enable the option Managed by Application. Click OK . close solution center. Try to print.

Double printing

This one is too lenghty to give you here, goto lexmark.com, and in support knowledge base, search with this line...blurry, fuzzy, or double print from a lexmark x4720...There is specific info on test pages you need to run to narrow this down.
It could even be a conflict with motherboard/proccessor that can occur with some e-machines, compacs and others using certain amd chipsets
